The history of Squad 8-B goes back decades as it was one of the most effective units in the Chicago law enforcement community. We named the company Squad 8-B Solutions, Inc. for some very good reasons and to honor the people I learned from and respected. We wanted to set the bar high.

Chicago’s Fugitive Task Force

In 1995, when I first joined the Chicago FBI Office, I was fortunate to be assigned to Squad 8-B. We worked on some very high-profile cases that were extensively covered by news organizations.

Squad 8-B was the Fugitive Task Force in Chicago. I learned virtually everything I would need to know about law enforcement in my first couple of years on this squad. It was made up of senior FBI Agents, Seasoned Chicago Police Department homicide detectives, US Marshals, Cook County Sheriff’s Police Investigators and a Secret Service Agent.

It was also the beginning of many professional relationships that continue to this day.

The combined experience, knowledge and resources made for a potent crime fighting force that on a daily basis arrested high threat targets.

In forming Squad 8-B Solutions, Inc., I wanted to bring all of the experience I gained from my years on Squad 8-B to deliver professional security services to a new clientele and new challenges. In fact, some of the brave men and women from the original Squad 8-B are associates of this new team.
