History of Squad 8-B
Squad 8-B was the Fugitive Task Force, gaining fame with cases that made the news on a regular basis. It was made up of senior FBI Agents, Seasoned Chicago Police Department Homicide detectives, US Marshals, Cook County Sheriff’s Police Investigators and Secret Service Agents.

Pablo Araya
Squad 8-B’s President Pablo Araya, is a seasoned private investigator and security expert with 20 plus years as a former FBI Special Agent and 7.5 years of US Naval Service. Training experience includes being a Counselor of The 244th Session of the FBI National Academy. Speaks fluent Spanish and has more Top Secret and special clearances than he can remember.
- Deployed to India shortly after 9/11 to work on priority terrorist leads.
- Deployed to Jalalabad Afghanistan in 2005, embedded with US Army Rangers, in the GWOT.
- Deployed to Santiago, Chile for six months as Acting Assistant Legal Attaché for the FBI.
- Captured a Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive in Mexico in 2004.
- 17 years on the Chicago Violent Crimes Task Force, 11 of them as the Chicago FBI Fugitive Coordinator.
- 3.5 years in a full time, UC Role, targeting National Security matters.
